CD55 is internalized by the parasites (read Skakya eLife 2021 and Olivieri et al 2021 Comm Biol). Kell-JMH-duffy: Pos correlation between these 3, so if you have formed antibodies against one of them, there is a high probability of having antibodies agaisnt the other ones. But there is a neg correlation between CD55 and Kell/duffy, perhaps because CD55 is internalised by the parasites and the other ones are not??? When you write the paper, be careful to mention how the proteins were made, are they recombinant proteins (if so are they correctly folded?) or purified from plasma? very clear neg correlation Kell-JMH-duffy to untreated S1/S2/S3 as expected high pos correlation between untreated and papain-treated results. DAT only correlated with IgG, so probably mostly dependent on IgG. plasma proteins: when CRP goes up, a sign of inflammation, albumin goes down which is normal and expected.
