6. PROJECT: PRESENTATION AND REPORT
REPORT FORMAT: 4 pages and more total, excluding the bibliography, cover page, table of contents, and list of figures and tables. An abstract not exceeding 300 words, in one paragraph, and with no references, should appear on the top of the page numbered 1, after the cover page, the table of contents, the list of figures, and the list of tables. The word “Abstract” must be Times Roman, Bold, Italic, and 12 pt. The text of the abstract itself must be Times New Roman and 11 pt.

Report must be in Times Roman 11, spacing 1.15, margins Normal (all 1”). Every new paragraph should be indented by two spaces. No empty line between paragraphs. One empty line should be left between every two consecutive sections. Major headings must be 12 pt and subheadings should be 11 pt. No empty lines are required between the heading/subheading and the text.
1-2 figures in the report: size of figure must take no more space than the height of the paragraph of section 6 above. Figures must be numbered and have captions Times Roman 11. Figures can be inside the text. Maximum 2 tables in report, same maximum size as figures.
A literature review with a minimum of 3-4 scientific articles or reports must be part of the report (No Wikipedia, blogs, newspaper articles, or other information not considered serious. No references with n.d. are acceptable). References should follow the IEEE format given in the Report Writing Presentation.
REPORT CONTENT: The Project must analyze a contract in a project of a particular industry and must cover most of the following points: (1) explain the technical/management background; (2) discuss the regulations of the USA or the European Union and of the UAE related to the topic; (3) include international and/or local case studies; (4) present the contracting issues for a manager in the topic, and (5) provide suggestions by the group for addressing the situation.
