You must defend a specific philosophical position. The paper should begin with a brief introduction that clearly identifies its thesis. Then, it should give a focused defense of that thesis, followed by two clearly identified objections to that thesis as well as clearly identified responses to those objections. It should conclude with a brief description of what you believe to have established in the paper. The paper must incorporate the insights, ideas and/or arguments of at least two other philosophers covered in the class, either to further defend the main thesis or to offer objections to it.
