Task 1.
Develop a website using WordPress.com
Nature of Competition (For example level competition and identify one competitor) by critically evaluating the
principles and processes involved in developing digital marketing strategy using components of Buyer
Persona Spring and Conduct an audit of websites based on their search and social media optimisation.
Plesae include the links of your competitor site and your own website in the presentation slides. (20 marks).
Task 2.
Apply following elements on your website (20 marks):
• Design (Theme website, sections within the website, Font, sliders for images or blogs etc.)
• Readability (How easy it is for reader to understand the information)
• Usability (How easily visitor navigate through the pages of website and gets
required information).
Task 3.
Conduct Search and Social Media Optimisation, for example, evidence of on-page optimisation (use of right
and relevant Keywords in main headings, sub headings and meta descriptions etc.) and off-page optimisation
(use of social media to create awareness about the products and services). Analyse the benefits, problems
and challenges faced by organisations in using digital marketing communication channels in particular search
engine optimisation and social media optimisation. (20 marks).
Task 4. Conduct Website Analytics (For example, Measurement of the traffic, engagement and conversion by
linking your website to Google analytics etc. (20 marks).
Task 5. Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the presentation, ability to answer questions,
presentation style, Grammar and referencing (Harvard Referencing style) (20 Marks).
