Paper details
Consider the cliché : An apple a day keeps the doctor away.
State this cliché as a testable hypothesis. Remember to come up with operational definitions. You need to
be able to see the variable that you manipulate and measure a response. Be specific.
Information that you individually need to include:
What is the hypothesis?
What is the independent variable (the one that you will manipulate across groups)? How will you define this
variable?
Describe the experimental and control groups.
What is the dependent variable (what will you measure)? You plan to manipulate something with the
expectation that you will get a certain result. How will you measure whether or not you got that result?
Who will be your participants? Provide some details about the population, how participants will be selected,
and how they will be assigned to the groups.
How will you test your hypothesis? This is the procedure. What do you plan to do to test whether or not An
apple a day keeps the doctor away?
Are there any ethical issues to consider? What other issues or problems should be considered?
