Description: Chapter 9 of our textbook discusses the important topic of project related resourcing. Read the
case on pages 384 – 386, which deals with a case example around D.U. Singer Hospital Products
Corporation. Ignore the questions, instead I would like you to do the following:
1) Build a WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) table based on the case and Exhibit 1. The WBS should
clearly indicate which tasks are dependent / predecessors
2) Draft an AON network diagram (as depicted in Figure 8-16, which helps to highlight the earliest start,
earliest finish, latest start and latest finish durations)
3) Identify your critical path in the AON network diagram, and explain how you identified the critical path. As
part of your thought process, include the total number of work weeks the project will take
4) You can assume that the installation will not be done in parallel.
Please submit all of the above as ONE attachment. I realize you may use different programs to create the
above, but please in the end paste all of your work back in either MS Word or Adobe PDF file format. Your
paper should be in APA format. Do not forget to put your name, class, assignment name and submission
date on the front page. This paper has no minimum page number, as the focus is more on the WBS. You
should however still include a cover page and reference section.
