This is the Final Draft of your second Composition Essay and Midterm. This is your opportunity to really
write the essay, fully integrate your research, nail your MLA formatting and citation, and earn those 200
points.

Edit and revise your Essay on the topic of American Heritage and Identity, that presents your Main Point in
a Thesis Statement, and supports it in a series of paragraphs integrating your research as support for your
argument. Use my comments, and your own thinking about your previous draft to make your essay
stronger, clearer, and more complete.
There is no Word Count or Length requirement, but the argument should be complete. Based on the Thesis
Statements and outlines most of you are turning in, as well as the depth of your research, that will require
more than three body paragraphs, but the goal is strong argument and complete support, not a particular
length.
